  • Republican party after 2016

The last two presidential elections have gone poorly for the Republican party and this one is shaping up to be just as terrible. What will their failure analysis come up with this time?

I hope it's a complete collapse and the end of a two party system. Unfortunately, that could entail a single party one for a while.

If she is elected, I'm pretty sure it is a one party system. The bush's are backing her and so is the speaker of the house. How much more one part can it get? Is she gonna go by Big Brother?

The leadership of the GOP should be dragged out into the streets and beat to within an inch of their sorry lives...

The Dems are running the biggest criminal on the planet for President and the GOP can't even muster a whimper of disapproval, and then all we've got is the buffoon Trump to represent us?

What a major f*ckin' cluster f*ck those Republican Party idiots have become.

              Who cares?

We have allowed them to lead us by the nose, as a supposed counterbalance to the corrupt big government socialist policies of the Democrat party.

And how have they rewarded us?

By refusing to go to battle over the corruption, the overpowered and bloated federal government, and socialist policies that have created lifetime Democrat voters.

They have let themselves be painted as the party of the good ol boy blue collar religious right-leaning southern white male, while completely hanging them out to dry. What a bunch of fucking idiots. Good riddance, bring on the real fireworks of 2020.
When the government pays, the government controls.

The Tea Party was the path to salvation for the GOP but the GOP has never been sincere in their claims of wanting to end big government so they ignored the Tea Party.

I don't know about salvation, but they did a good job at coming off crazy.

So did you vote for Obama a second time?

If nothing else the GOP has seen the Clinton playbook, they know how her organization worked and what they could get away with.

It's now completely acceptable to meet in private with the AG just before your spouse faces possible indictment. It's okay to have dozens of surrogate groups funded by who knows where, possibly foreign powers that can be controlled directly by your candidate and their campaign. It's fine to actually pay people to show up and protest your opponent and to cause trouble, you can even have them wear gear from your opponent and show up at your rally to make them look bad.

Stuff that we've all suspected was happening has been proven to be actually happening and is probably more rampant than anyone really thought possible.

Nothing will happen. Libertarians will bare this cross, again.
We'll be in WW3 soon anyway.

You forgot to add "if you're a Democrat".

The Republican Party is dead unless Trump wins this election. I can't believe the hubris of the idiots in the party who support Hillary. They have revealed themselves to be the two faced liars that we all suspected they were.

On a related note, isn't it about time to hoist the black flag and begin slitting throats? We have a government that only represents the interests of government and we have one party and a media that freely prints propaganda in an attempt to steal an election. Shouldn't we be killing these people?
