The teacher who desecrated the American flag inside a North Carolina classroom told me he has no regrets and wants the student who photographed him to be punished.

Lee Francis, a first year history teacher at Massey Hill Classical High School in Fayetteville, has been placed on administrative leave while the school district investigates the incident

That's disturbing. And the fact that he is a History teacher makes it even more so.

Nothing new here, just the liberal agenda indoctrinating the urchins a littler earlier than what they'll will see in college.

              Move along folks...

Students in college are there by choice however, while public school students are not (in most cases).

i get the perception the teacher knew what he was doing is wrong and thought there would not be consequences as he was doing it.
typical entitled azzhat to shift blame to the student. I'm curious what the specific code is that states one person can't legally take a picture of the another person.
respect for the student to pick up the flag and walk out.

True, but college students are, for the most part, there for and education and are unfortunately getting a biased "opinion" in place of a true education based off of facts, truth and history.

Looks like that was the point he was trying to make: you may not like it, but our Bill of Rights and Supreme Court say that he can do that without fear of being sent to prison or death row.

Treason? Don't you see the problem with this?

I don't see a problem with this as he was demonstrating the 1st amendment as a lesson to the children.
