    Bush Sr. does indeed have the right to vote for whomever he chooses. Same as anyone else legally allowed to do so.

He could campaign for Bernie and I would still admire the guy.
      Miitary service record and political record are seperate. You can have someone with an impressive or admirable military career who sucks as a politician. Plenty in our history who served honorably but screwed us when it came to an office. McCain and Teddy Roosevelt immediately come to mind.
