Le Pen, like Geert Wilders in the Netherlands, did better than anyone expected they'd do - but it wasn't enough.

It looks like Europe is okay with the inevitable socialism and globalization.

Europe may change its mind after a few more years of German hegemony, unfettered muslim migration and the inevitable terrorism that comes with both - of the economic and pants-shitting varieties.

It's no longer a movement, and I no longer hold interest in it. Maybe in another few years...

The reason for that is other elections are coming up in France and her party hopes to make good gains there.

However, the French President holds the lion's share of power in their political system, so his agenda pretty much has a thumb on any scales.

Perhaps we will see her rise as a modern version of equal parts Robespierre, Jean Paul Marat, and Napoleon. Surely her supporters, whether vocal or silent can see that France is being destroyed, and be willing to send the bohemians packing.
