You guys ready to admit it's time to bring back the public hanging? After a fair trial, of course. But we could speed these things along. After all, they've got the right to a speedy trial. They don't deserve to have to rot in the dungeon. They quickly go to trial, and if found guilty, they hang in the public square.

Do you understand that this is a much more merciful fate than they tried to put upon their victims? What happens if the family that owned the small business they burned down, lived at the location? Just upstairs, as some do in my town. And they burned them alive. Or the glass they bust out of that car, flies into the eyes of the little kid inside, and blinds them for life.

Hang them in public. Grow a fucking sack for shit's sake. It worked great for thousands of years, now all the sudden we're too good for it? Yeah right. As they hang, they should be told to consider themselves fortunate. That people like us believe in the constitution, and that there should be no cruel and unusual punishment. Otherwise I'd be very tempted to take inspiration from Vlad the impaler.
