I get the Brits not liking guns and saying "the last thing we need is an armed revolt" but here's the thing, when the majority of your population is armed, all the people have to do is just threaten revolt. There was a stupid law passed in Dallas Texas a few years ago that made it illegal to feed the homeless and police were going around literally stopping people from giving food to the homeless. So in good Texas fashion the people started feeding the homeless in groups with ARs strapped to their backs. Suddenly the police had better things to do.
