When is the ATF going to start stomping around collecting all these illegal machine guns that are not protected by the 2nd Amendment? Surely you can point to the emergency letter sent out by the ATF to every FFL instructing the them to stop selling AR-15s.

I follow court rulings the way other people follow sports. You do know that with the Heller Decision were it for not for having to appease Justice Kennedy they were going to strike down almost all of the gun laws in the United States. There's a case before The Supreme Court right now that is pretty minor but what's going to happen is the court is going to rule that gun laws have to meet a higher standard called strict scrutiny. This will effectively gut gun control in America and if we don't get the strict scrutiny standard being applied to gun laws in this particular instance more and more cases will be filed seeking a ruling the forces the government to use the strict scrutiny standard.Magnus, I am your father. You need to ask your mother about a man named Calvin Klein.

Democrats Introduce MASSIVE Gun Control Legislation During Coronavirus
Dems Seek To Ban Semiautomatic Assault Weapons
Since the CDC confirmed the first U.S. case of Coronavirus on January 21, Democrats have introduced both a House and a Senate version of a new massive anti-gun program entitled “Gun Violence Prevention and Community Safety Act of 2020.” Democrat congressman Hank Johnson and senator Elizabeth Warren have introduced these bills, which have not gotten a whole lot of attention as the nation reels from the fallout of Coronavirus.
HR 5717: “Gun Violence Prevention and Community Safety Act of 2020” (Read Text of the Bill)
This bill was introduced by Rep. Hank Johnson, Democrat from Georgia, on January 30, 2020, and referred to the House Subcommittee on Crime, Terrorism, and Homeland Security on March 10, 2020. The bill seeks to impose a federal semiautomatic assault weapons ban, stating, “It shall be unlawful for a person to import, sell, manufacture, transfer, or possess, in or affecting interstate or foreign commerce, a semiautomatic assault weapon.”

A few Dem governors have gotten a little taste of power during this pandemic and are trying to live out their totalitarian fantasies. President Trump is calling them out directly.
