"I am truly amazed at this article. I am 59 years old and escaped socialism in 1979. This article is like reliving my youth, a time when we were told by the government what, when, how but never WHY to do something. You kids, and l have to presume that you are nothing but idealistic millenials who dream of a world that does not, nor will it ever exist, have only one problem that will cost all of us to regret your push toward socialism and that is the fact that even a socialistic society has the ones that have and the ones that have not. What will however be missing in the equation is what drives a capitalistic free market society, and that is competition. A socialistic society breeds laziness and ignorance, but you would not know that, because you never lived anywhere but the good ole US of A (at least not for any length of time).
The move toward a socialist society WILL be met with the resistance of the likes you kids don't read about, because you refuse to learn from history, you are unfortunately too arrogant to question your own actions. You talk tough, but behind the facade is weakness and the fear to get physically hurt. Your opponent in this ideological battle knows no fear, just the resolve to preserve what so many died for and we are not afraid to follow in their footsteps.
