His end goal is to take the bulk of manufacturing out of China and relocate it to South America, Central America, and Mexico. The high value manufacturing he wants to bring to the states. This will take the wind out of the sails for the Red Chinese government and severely reduce the need for people to flee their home countries and try entering the US illegally to work. He is also going to enforce the Wong Kim Ark supreme court ruling and end the policy of birthright citizenship for the children of people who are not legally in the country.

It's multi purpose diplomacy which goes a long way to solving both of our pressing problems, our loss of domestic manufacturing capability and migration and its main cause.

Also has the added benefit of inhibiting the ability of the Chi Coms to encroach on our hemisphere via central and south america via their "belt and road" swindle.

Trump 2020. But is another 4 years of trump long enough to kill off the scumbag chinese government? Or otherwise force them to adopt much better business practices? I doubt it. The chinese seem to give this impression that they're just trying to wait him out.

Knowing that eventually he'll leave office, and if they get the short end of the stick for 8 years, well so be it, they don't leave office so just tighten the belts a little and weather the famine. Unless you get another repub, which I find likely, and he will probably support the former potus's policies.
