We need someone that will return power back to the people. He doesn't think that government is the problem, he thinks the people running it are. Government is too involved in individual's lives, government is too involved in industry, government is too involved in other nation's conflicts, government and bureaucracies are too heavily armed.... Trump thinks we need better government. I say we need less government.

Yeah and what about all the other corruption in our various government entities?

In my opinion, the plane is plummeting to earth, the pilot is passed out and the wings are about to break off.

It does not matter who is in the pilot seat at this point, it's just a matter of time before it crashes and burns.

I think I align most with Cruz policy-wise, but I find him incredibly annoying.

I'm still on the fence on whether I would want to see Trump in office. In my mind it could go one of two ways: He surprises everyone and does a kick-ass job as president; or he is absolutely terrible, turns some of our allies against us, makes the US the laughing-stock of the modern world.

Seems like a pretty big risk for the possible reward. I'm trying to keep an open mind on it though.

No way on either Democratic nominee.. I just flat out don't trust Hillary and believe her to be very unethical. Not that other candidates are always 100% ethical, but her issues have been painfully public. I won't even get to policy. Sanders is just way too liberal for me.

Rubio is by far the most 'electable' of the Rep candidates. Cruz is too far right and Trump is well... Trump.

Cruz nor Trump would be able to pull votes from the middle to win a national election.

Rubio is the only non polarizing viable candidate, dem or rep, IMO.

I'm sure this has been discussed somewhere, but I'm lazy and don't feel like searching through all of the bullshit to find it.

Is Cruz even eligible to be President?

I'm with you on this with Cruz, but not so sure about Rubio. I think he's a lot more electable. Certainly he isn't as conservative as the others but he comes of as less..... how do I put this.... Insane... Yea, I think that's the word..

As I've said before, I support maybe 90% of what Cruz claims to stand for. However he has never accomplished a damn thing solely due to his own personality. He just likes to piss people off.

I helped put him in office his first go round. Couldn't be happier with him. You'd really take the rino dildo he replaced, over him? Every time he gives them an ass chewing, I feel represented.
