Pretty sure he never said they were black.

Even if he was, and if he had beat the kid like the punk he was, your position would hypocritically reverse. It would be somehow wrong that he smacked that kid around. And he'd probably be a racist on top of that. Instead of what it should be, which would be, that he taught the kid a valuable life lesson.

why would it piss me off? I couldnt even imagine being in my 30s and letting a stranger get me so worked up that i essentially have to do the virtual nanny nanny boo boo.

but hey to each their own!

Also out of curiosity, if you set someone to ignore, can you still see their threads? And if you can see the threads do you just click on them knowing you wont be able to read the content of the post? Do you just come in to read replies even though you wont know the basis of the replies?

I'm kind of lost, just trying to figure out how that works. I have never set anyone to ignore, so it's foreign to me.

One need not set an ad nauseum copy/paste poster such as naynay to ignore to know that his posts will be suitable for entertainment purposes only, and will be devoid of any personal insight or useful information.

Exactly my point. I am just a guy on the internet. No need to let me get you worked up.

lol... the ignore function is for those who have no self-control. Those who use this feature end up reading what is posted anyway. Those who loudly announce they use this said feature should really be embarrassed, especially if they think it has any impact on dumb motherfuckers like Tremordingding.

I joined up over at the official vbulletin forums, and I'm going to ask for a bit of code. Hopefully someone has a mod or something over there (perhaps for greasemonkey) that will add a few enhancements to the ignore function. I'm going to ask them if anyone has anything that will not only make their post completely invisible, but also not allow quotes of their posts to be seen.

So you'd be able to see the reply to their post from other people, but not the person you're ignoring's words. Also "This message is blocked because assfag is on your ignore list" won't be visible anymore either. Thus, it will be like the person you're ignoring doesn't even exist, and isn't even a member of the forum. At least, that'll be the effect.
