  • Guns in America: Obama Town Hall

Did anyone catch this? Was actually surprised Anderson Cooper raised the obvious points that any conservative brings up.

It wasn't as biased as what I was expecting but he didn't answer a majority of the actual questions.

I agree with that. Sad that I am happy just because unbiased questions were actually asked.

So, he didn't change his normal behavior at all.

Pretty much. Biggest surprise for me was the debate after was a bit more than divided with it almost seeming more pro 2A than democrat. Anderson Cooper did a very good job of being a non biased moderator.

obama is a speech giver nothing more. ask a question he will give a speech . this is the #1 reason trump is where he is. people are tired of practiced speeches. jeb is an example get him off subject and he babbles.

since most of you are much younger than me let me ask a question. how serious do you see things in today's world ? old farts like me see things from a wwll mentality. we grew up with that generation hearing all the stories.

Forget Obama, how about Taya Kyle? She needs to run for congress.

                  Exactly right on all points.

I don't know about much younger, but I see things going in a direction that we haven't really seen in a little over 150 years. Unlike when we were younger, much of what we should be fearing is internal.

i'm 65 and red white and blue . i may hate every bastard in washington but i love my country. imho the reason we are in this mess is stupidity of voters. ignorant fuckheads voted for obama because he was black . period. just like they will vote for that hag because she is a woman. this is what you get for dropping civics from schools . i know i was dumb as a river rock when i was a kid but by high school i at least knew how things worked.

my #1 requirement for the next administration is to kill welfare . send any immigrant who does not work home and get rid of earned income credit . time for the tit to dry up.

The good thing for you is that you won't be around to witness the demise.

As to your #1 requirement, it will never happen. Welfare exists and could possibly be rolled back, somewhat, but a killing of an entitlement hasn't ever happened. EIC is not an immigrant specific tax credit.

Why would the milk stop flowing when it guarantees votes? We've been heading this way for over 100 years, and it will only continue.

The ignorant fools who voted for Obama, twice, simply based their choice on emotion rather than educating themselves about the facts. A similar, though not quite as ignorant, mindset got Jimmy Carter elected in '76. Remember the "GIMME JIMMY!" slogan trotted out ad nauseum?

Yes shit head. First time I've ever seen Anderson Cooper, or CNN for that matter, attempted to be truly unbiased and ask the questions we are all thinking.
How would background checks stop criminals who are breaking the law? Obviously they can't be bothered with pesky things such as being lawful.

How come it seems that these mass mirders occur in gun free zones ? And how might the outcome be different if just a handful of people were carrying?

I was happy that these type of questions were actually asked.
It's sad(pathetic) this is so unique.
