I know exactly what you're talking about with the other U.S. Numbers; hell I was the first one posting about it back in 2008. It's called an unfunded liability. Neither you nor I know what Greece's unfunded liability is, but knowing what I do know about Greece I'm certain it's way higher than ours.
A big deal is being made about how generous the Greek pensions are and the only one that I can compare it to is my grandmothers pension which was 6 times higher then the average Greek pension that I can find data about. Just under 900 euros is the average I believe and that doesn't sound like much to me.
Are far as our GDP to debit ratio goes; how long do you think it will take for us to exceed what the Greeks have done at our currant rate of spending? 3 years? 5 years?Magnus, I am your father. You need to ask your mother about a man named Calvin Klein.

Everyone is in favor of cutting government spending in the abstract. The moment it affects them, someone they know or some pet idea of theirs though, that goes out the window.
SVO855 will you forego your Social Security? I bet you he would gladly forego it. He's got money, and he's... "hyper-principled"?

I'd forego mine if I could withdraw from the program now and invest the money myself.Originally posted by racrguyWhat's your beef with NPR, because their listeners are typically more informed than others?Originally posted by racrguyVoting is a constitutional right, overthrowing the government isn't.

Most people I talk to have nothing but good things to say about you, but you sure come across as a condescending prick. Do you have an inferiority complex you've attempted to overcome through overachievement? Or were you fondled as a child?
You and slow99 should date. You both have passive aggressiveness down pat.
