Presidential candidate Donald Trump said Tuesday that if he is elected president he will build a wall along the United States’ southern border and it won’t cost taxpayers a dime, according to the Washington Times.

The 69-year-old multi-billionaire also said Mexico would pick up the tab for the wall.

“I will build a great, great wall on our southern border and I will have Mexico pay for that wall,” Trump said, according to the Times.

Trump did not provided any specific details on how he would get Mexico to agree to this plan.

Anybody that can go bankrupt twice and rebuild his wealth in billions is pretty smart in my book. We need a smart business man and not a politician running this country. I'd prefer one with military experience, however.

This. Trump has managed to turn himself into a joke. At one point he may have been a serious businessman, but the reality tv crap has made most people not take him seriously. I sure don't. He comes across as a used car salesman, and is likely lying even more than the standard candidate, which requires some effort.

Donald Trump has banned any employee of Univision from stepping foot on one of his properties after the Spanish-language network cancelled the Miss USA telecast.

The billionaire real estate baron, who is now running for president, sent a signed letter to the company's CEO and made threats about future policies.

"Please congratulate your Mexican Government officials for having made such outstanding trade deals with the United States. However, inform them that should I become President, those days are over. We are bringing jobs back to the U.S. Also, a meaningful border will be immediately created, not the laughingstock that currently exists," Trump said in the letter.
