18 charges, with 2 in March of this year. This type of attitude and behavior clearly explains why he didn't just take his ticket and walk. It also explains the police's lack of compassion as he is a known criminal and repeat offender.

Should he have died for pissing in public? No. He probably should have been shot during one of the multiple other altercations in which he was involved. Did it give the police the right to fuck him up? No. Should they be held accountable? Absofuckinglutely.

Please understand that this in no way condones the actions of the police. But to say that his record is irrelevant seems a bit of a stretch. Malicious destruction of property, second degree assault, burglary, tons of possession charges. You cannot tell me that someone with those [recent] charges is going to cooperate, take a citation, and go on with life like you or I would. It speaks to his character. Plain and simple.

Looks like his carfax tells the story of a lemon. You get a car with a history like that and then complain when it breaks down. Good luck with that.

Unconstitutional laws should be ignored anyway. I go out of my way to break them when I can. As far as I'm concerned they don't even exist.

IIRC the guy was pissing in public, that is a ticket, but instead they go all MMA on him and the guy dies, yeah, lets forget about that little tidbit of information...
Trial, conviction, public hanging. Make all the other cops watch the hanging. Required attendance or termination. I really am a proponent of getting back to cheap, easy, and public means of execution. People really do need to witness firsthand the consequences of doing this stuff. Watching someone swing from a rope would be quite an excellent deterrent for a great many people who are thinking "eh, worst case I'll just sit it out in jail".

Absolutely no doubt he was a piece of shit. The reason it's irrelevant is because a person's past and current actions don't warrant a certain level of force. Running from the police when he wasn't reasonably suspected of a crime warrants the chase that ensued?

The first part of Proverbs 28:1 comes to mind in this case.

Quit trolling. I know you hate police, but I hate stupid people that cant keep from breaking the law repeatedly. Did he deserve to die? Probably not. It goes back to the "play stupid games, win stupid prizes"

Dude decided over and over to break the law, and run from the cops/fight back. He made a choice, and he got to face the consequences of that decision.

                  • Why is this never discussed in the msm?
In 2013, of America’s 6,261 black homicide victims, more than 6,000 of them — 97 percent — were killed by people other than police. About three percent of black homicide victims were killed by police. And of that three percent, nearly every one was armed and dangerous. To label that an epidemic of police racism is a libel.
In addition, more than 9 in 10 blacks murdered were murdered by another black person. Now that is an epidemic — an epidemic of black murderers. (In response, it is pointed out that about 83 percent of whites are murdered by whites. But there is no equivalency here. Blacks murder at eight times the rate of whites — 34.4 per 100,000 versus 4.5 per 100,000.)

Because the race industry has an agenda and facts do not fit into it.

It's a good thing we don't base our laws on mythology.

All I'm saying is the police can't use a person's past as a justification for mistreatment. Did he deserve it? Probably. Was what he did this time commensurate with the level of force used? I don't think so. No news report I've found has said he did anything outside of run when he saw them, and the only thing they found on him was a switchblade.

I agree with that statement but must also point out that wisdom can be found in may places; the bible being one of them. God doesn't have to be true for many of the things that you read in the bible to be true; especially the stuff about sodomites.

so what makes you think the cops even knew his history? He ran, they caught him, what else happened? You actually trust the reporting in this country to tell the whole and unbiased truth?

Your hatred of cops is fogging your normally solid judgement. You are judge jury and executioner against the cops. Pretty hypocritical, dont you think?
