I'll keep trying to find the article about him being a shithead in Florida.
I just read the article that you posted a link to. I never knew that being on deferred probation would keep someone from being able to get a CHL. What is the point of "deferred" anything if it will still affect you the same as a conviction? As someone who knows and hires real criminals I just see the dude as a puff; albeit a loud mouthed one.
Magnus, I am your father. You need to ask your mother about a man named Calvin Klein.

^^^^ I would say that it does but I have an employe who murdered 2 people while in his teens and spent a few decades in prison for it whom I trust completely. In regards to Mr Watkins I don't see an issue with allowing him to carry a hand gun vs allowing him to carry a rifle.

He also apparently doesn't have a current driver's license, because he doesn't believe in paying tickets. That's why he does all that cop block shit. He thinks they don't have the authority to write traffic tickets. He's just too fucking crazy to have a CHL, and I'm glad the state recognizes that.
If the offenses he was convicted of have a possible sentence of one year or more in jail, federal law prohibits gun ownership.

Your employee sounds like someone that has attempted to rejoin society, and I'm all for restoring their rights down the road if they do that. What I have a problem with is people like Kory Watkins. He thinks that things should be a certain way, and is devoting himself to throwing a giant public tantrum as a political strategy. If he really cared about the things he wants, he would engage in the political process and address the needs and concerns of stakeholders. Instead, he's more interested in attention whoring and playing commando dress-up.

Yeah, have no problems with felons being re-instated and record cleared after a period of time. Most don't anyway, but kudos to those that do. Although, I'd find it hard to employ a murderer unless they had a good story to go with it - as not all "murders" are the same.

^^^ He was a 15 year old nobody white boy gang member in LA and got caught up in a bad deal. He was told to kill the two people or his family and himself would be held accountable for what the two people had done. He tracked them and got one somewhere in NM and got the other one in El Paso. He has extreme PTSD from it and relives the killings in his sleep every night and talks out loud exactly how he was talking when he killed the men. Other then that he is a very stand up guy and a very resourceful one at that.

Hahahahaha. Thats awesome. Watkins is a dick. He's probably one of the reasons Constitutional Carry didn't go anywhere.

Slept in the same room with him on a trip more then once but not in the same bed. Hearing him talk was interesting and creepy.
