Something to think on. Legal presence can include DACA and DREAMERS, neither of which have any true legal standing as Congress did not grant them any but this would permit them to be officers. This could also lead to those DACA individuals, here illegally, to serve as federal law enforcement which leads one to link it to the President's statement that he wanted a civilian military force just as strong and funded and as well trained as our military. This one though would be staffed with illegals.

An old employee of mine is married to a gal from Colombia who has her permanent residency but not her citizenship yet. She is a patrol officer for a sheriffs department in FL and has been so for 6-7 years. I know her well and know that she is a solid person and a good deputy.

I wouldn't go so far as to say that... have you ever tried to pick up a couple day laborers?... the one time I did, they wanted $14 bucks and even had a spokesperson out there speaking for the group that walked up to the truck.

Got a guy who mows the grass for $35. I haven't seen that price since 1999, when i was the kid mowing the grass. Weed eats, edges, rakes, everything. Some of those people want work wherever the hell they can find it.
