Right. This is the problem with starting the race too early. There's enough to say with just bagging on Obama and how he's handling shit.

From Jan 2013 to Mar 2015, Cruz missed 49 of 733 roll call votes, which is 6.7%. This is worse than the median of 1.6% among the lifetime records of senators currently serving.

I think that some of the behavior we see in politicians that we would call "good", is because of veiled death threats.

As for Cruz, imo he's done plenty. He's done a lot more than the 'go along to get along' types that he replaced, I can't believe some of you haven't heard of all his anti left shenanigans.

Where do you come up with this shit? Did you just catch up on House of Cards and think you have some great insight now?

Somedays I wonder if you are a child who managed to get on a computer; a literal child who has an imagination but zero logic or knowledge to temper it with.

Walter: Were you listening to the Dude's story?
                      Donny: I was bowling.
Walter: So you have no frame of reference here, Donny. You're like a child who wanders into the middle of a movie, and wants to know-
Dude: Walter, Walter - What's the point, man?
Walter: There's no reason... here's my point, Dude. There's no fucking reason why these two...
Donny: Yeah, Walter, what's your point?

What legislation, that he has authored, has become law?

                        The answer is exactly ONE.

S2195: A bill to deny admission to the United States to any representative to the United Nations who has been found to have been engaged in espionage activities or a terrorist activity against the United States and poses a threat to United States national security interests.

This bill was passed to deny entry into the US of an Iranian diplomat that had directly participated in the US Embassy hostage situation back during the Carter administration. Kind of a no brainer ehh. Even Obama jumped on the bandwagon for that one.

Beyond that, Ted Cruz has sponsored 43 other bills. Not a single one of which has ever gotten out of committee. He was sent to the US Senate to effect change upon our laws for the benefit of Texas and the rest of this country. He has been a absolute failure at that.

No one has bothered mentioning his anti left shenanigans for two reason. We are all already familiar with them and like most other shenanigans in this world, they didn't accomplish a damn thing.

Blowing your horn does a great job in getting attention, but it doesn't do anything beyond that if you end up annoying those whose attention you have caught.

                          YES! Holy shit, he's Donny!

The Dude: It's like what Lenin said... you look for the person who will benefit, and, uh, uh...
                          Donny: I am the walrus.
The Dude: You know what I'm trying to say...
                          Donny: I am the walrus.
                          Walter Sobchak: That fucking bitch...
                          The Dude: Oh yeah!
                          Donny: I am the walrus.
Walter Sobchak: Shut the fuck up, Donny! V.I. Lenin. Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov!
Donny: What the fuck is he talking about, Dude?

I would like to formally petition the mods to change Gasser64 to Donny with this avatar:

I feel the same. He's done absolutely nothing in the Senate but promote himself. He is a failure, he is delusional, and he is a joke. I don't support a single thing about him. It really says a lot about the hopelessness of this country when Cruz is one of the best that the GOP can come up with. It also says a lot about the GOP establishment's lack of will to change, and lack of will to succeed. I'm getting to the point where I cant support this party anymore.

Just curious, but what meaningful legislation did Obama sponsor?
