And I've never seen anybody "freak out" while in Neveda with OC people there.

The penalties went away for that a couple of years ago.

Article said it'd go into affect January 2016 to give time to the DPS to "prepare".
I guess you arent going to jail, but it damn sure can make a scene, you still have to hang out and wait for the police, or (as witnessed in the viral walmart video) some wannabe hero can take you down and detain you for no reason.

That sure sounds like a penalty that this law will essentially eliminate.

What do they need to prepare for? Seeing guns? That makes no sense to me. Maybe just a way to push it back a little farther

Damn Sean, right the fuck on.
I just like having more options.

My goodness, I think this is the 2nd time this year I've agreed with something you've posted. I should probably visit a therapist to make sure I'm not losing it, either that or you're finally making more sense.

Yeah man. I don't have a CHL, and I don't really care for one. However, I do like having the option to do more shit that isn't a crime. We've got entirely too much shit codified that doesn't need to be, whether I want to engage in those activities or not.

The things I say always make sense, you just don't always agree with them.

Oh, I agree. I merely was pointing out the change in the law. There's lots of CHL folk that aren't aware of that change and are still paranoid about the printing or OMG-I-reached-for-the-top-shelf-and-exposed-it-and-now-I'll-go-to-jail.

Probably more for the liberals to mentally prepare than DPS.

I find it interesting, people dont see what they arent looking for. My wife and I were at lunch one day, and a couple of guys walked in and past by our table on the way to be seated. I dont know what type of LEO they were, but both had a badge on their belt, along with a holstered gun. I noticed, and she didnt.

What, because I have an opinion different than yours? I thought that is what this site was all about. This isn't the first occasion where you come in and insult me vs. Adding to a constructive arguement. ad hominem at its finest.

I think he's referring to your hypocritical statement that he quoted.

I think that goes back to the Sheep, Wolf, Sheep Dog mentality.

What he said is not an ad hominem.... An ad hominem is when someone tries to invalidate an argument based on a character flaw of the person that made the argument. For example, if I were to tell you that you don't know what you're talking about because you're 21, THAT'S an ad hom. If I just told you that you're a douche, that's not an ad hom. If you're going to throw out the names of logical fallacies, it'd do you well to learn what they are.
