Go buy a really "POS" handgun. Get something like a Saturday Night Special. Then order only ONE lock for that gun. Keep your mouth shut about anything else you may or may not have. Always have the "Cheapie" locked, unloaded, and if possible rusty and nasty. That should take care of the brilliant VA inspectors that may come around. Oh yeah, have only 2 or 3 old and tarnished bullets for the gun.

        Nope, go fuck yourself.
Not trying to pry into your personal affairs, but is there a reason for them visiting your house(PTSD/ injury related). I know a few people receiving VA benefits and they've never mentioned having anyone stop by to interview interrogate them.

I'm part of the caregiver program where they come out to make sure I haven't shot my wife and she hasn't poisoned me, take my weight, check for cuts, scrapes and to evaluate if the house is appropriate (shower handles, etc) for my medical condition. They wanted me to have an electronic device here that I would have to use it to check in with a nurse daily and several times a day if I get upset but I told them fuck no.
