Oh the administration's story on what happened is entirely possible given how many people it takes to plan something for a president. It is within the realm of possibilities a secretary saw the invitation and it never made it to Obama's desk. It is also entirely possible that his secretary or secret service called the golf course desk to let them know the president would be playing at that day and time and the front desk cleared the calendar without even mentioning the wedding to them. However I just don't believe them because this administration doesn't ever tell the truth. I certainly don't believe him when he says he would have played around it because he is a pompous ass.

So yesterday Obama decided to exercise at a military gym so all of the marines had to workout somewhere else. Then when he was done with that he loaded up into his motorcade and headed to a luau on the North Shore where all of the people minding their own business had to sit and wait for the motorcade to pass by. Several people were late getting home from work and many arguments ensued as a result. Some people even had to eat cold dinners!

He's so inconsiderate traveling with a motorcade and a massive security detail. It's like he's the most important person on the island or something and there are people that might want to kill him. The nerve!!!

I kind of have the impression that if it had been W. he would have worked out with the Marines. Obama seems to make it an effort to avoid the military where as W. actually made (and still makes) efforts to interact with them on a pretty regular basis. He shows up at hospitals unannounced to see them and even goes on bike rides with wounded vets. He made a visit and speech at ground zero and did not have all the workers removed from the scene so he could get photo ops; if that had been Obama I get the impression all the workers would have been removed and his team would have spent 6 hours setting up photo ops of him not doing anything. The motorcade thing was an annoyance, sure, but that is standard procedure.
