..." Obama, champion of the common folk,..."
Kinda telling right there the author's intelligence level.
"...When a spending bill is over 1,700 pages, the purpose is to obscure, hide and insert provisions that will benefit those with money to influence the process at the expense of average Americans. None of the perpetrators in Congress actually read this bill. The public had no say regarding this bill."
Wonder what he said about the ACA?"Self-government won't work without self-discipline." - Paul Harvey

The problem is that the American people are in favor of government spending cuts only in the abstract. They love the idea. Start recommending programs and they will scoff as soon as they get to the one they like.
So these people in Congress ARE doing what the voters want. The overwhelming majority of voters want as much "free shit" as possible from the government. Whether they are old fucks on the dole, people on disability or ghetto scumbags, they all want that free shit.
The idea that government money is "free" needs to go away in this country.Originally posted by racrguyWhat's your beef with NPR, because their listeners are typically more informed than others?Originally posted by racrguyVoting is a constitutional right, overthrowing the government isn't.
