At least half of them are dumber than the other half. At least.

I would be OK with people like him being water boarded when they start giving answers like "I don't recall".

This is tough for me... I want to hate him, but can't. He's got a valid point and shouldn't be sorry. He doesn't need to be elected and can say things like that without voter reaction. I'd love to come on here and tell you that voters aren't stupid, but there's giant mounds of evidence that suggest I'm wrong. There are a multitude of things I do not know, most of them I don't even know that I don't know about.

That said, I won't vote on those things, or if it will have an effect on my life/person/family/money I'll educate myself and make a decision from there. 90%+ of the people I've ever met I don't believe will act/think/feel the same way.

              He's absolutely right.

Not a thing will come of this. Just like nothing came from Benhazi hearings.

The problem is not that people in this country are stupid. There are actually a lot of smart people here. The problem is that many people, smart or dumb, think they are smarter than everyone else.

                    Stupidity exhibit "A":
The voters of the 18th Congressional District of Texas.
"It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor honours that we are fighting, but for freedom - for that alone, which no honest man gives up but with life itself."

The problem is, he was deceitful and part of the architecture of the plan... then boasted about how he helped sucker the American people into thinking it was best (even though the majority of the people never bought into it).

The real problem is that he is one of the stupid people he is talking about. Have any doubts about it? Look at the quality of healthcare since his plan was implemented..... better or worse, look around?

Most communists don't realize how fucking stupid their idealistic views are. Sure in an ideal world where everyone contributed, but a communist system allows the lazy and stupid to flourish and punishes the hard working and industrious. Any idealistic view of humanity is bound to fail because there will always be scum among us. I submit to you Exhibit A.
