Do you live in an area where you cant get cable? I used to live in an area where I had dsl which was 2.3bmps.
Fucking rape.
Personal needs are not the fucking issue. Being stuck in the past is the problem.
Do you not understand the two issues being discussed here? One is the ISP's keeping it throttled and not expanding/upgrading enough for what they're charging, and the other is that we're falling behind and paying more for what other countries have.sigpic

Is the lack of innovation partly due to lack of consumer demand, I honestly don't know many people if anyone that bitches about their Internet. At least not to the extent of some on here. I want to read what exactly the bill says the government can do in regards to the new utility, my problem is them trying to control the flow of free and open information, I don't give a fuck about speed, if they are censoring shit.ازدهار رأسه برعشيت

I would recommend reading more about what is being proposed. More specifically, about the Open Internet Order, Verizon's lawsuit, and how utilities are regulated.

I think the idea and concept are good, I agree with the main idea. I just know government and its track record for corruption and being basically full of shit. I see this as a power grab by the fcc to take control of the content of Internet as it politically sees fit.ازدهار رأسه برعشيت
