You might as well as hand Louisiana's Senate seat to the Republicans. Landrieu was facing two Republicans. One of them got 17% of the vote. She is going to have her ass handed to her.

Alaska should also go red. VA was a lot closer than expected, take half those Libertarians and it'd be red. Hell pass a voter ID law and it'd probably go red once all the dead people stop showing up.

Tester in Montana is right leaning and he wants to keep his job in two years. Manchin in WV has been rumored to be switching parties, he probably won't but he's a very purple democrat. Heitkamp from ND just barely won in 2012 (less than 3k votes) and she's sided with Republicans before. They are the most moderate democrats in the senate right now.

So 54-46 is workable considering 3 of the 46 are pretty cold. Cornyn and McConnell should be able to get 60 votes if necessary.

There was never any doubt. Franken is a very reliable liberal vote and people do actually like him.

Contrary to DFM belief, the're some good well liked/respected Democratic politicians. Its just a shame that the ones so far left get all the press. Pelosi,Feinstein et al.
