Christianity's "pass" is that Christians are not doing this. Some people in the past did it in the name od Christianity, yes, but they are not a threat now.

That tired old post was used several times on Canada too. It was just as stupid there after the third or fourth repost as it is here.

Seems to me that most conflicts throughout history are rooted in religious differences and intolerance. It's probably safe to say that every religion has plenty of blood on it's hands.

I do agree with the comment made 6 pages ago (before Bill's dumb ass found this thread) that the tolerant, moderate Muslims give their silent approval by not hunting down the extremists themselves. If the moderate Muslims are really so appalled at what the fringe is doing in the name of their collective religion, why is it just US out there tracking down the Taliban?
