Good Muslims?

I promise you if I was a member of an organization that had plenty of "good people" in it, they would not be committing cowardly acts of mass murder. If they were, they would not be "good people", and as a member of the same group, neither would I.

If there are any good Muslims, then they would rise up, hunt down and eliminate the "extremists" immediately. Otherwise their inaction is equal to permissiveness, and there is blood on every Muslim's hands.

This goes for ANY group, sect, or religion. Muslims are just the current topic.

By the way, I am southern born baptist raised, but became agnostic. :wink1:

You seem like a intelligent guy. Let me give you a little history on myself. My mother was born in Tel Aviv, Israel as a Christian Israeli. Christian and Jewish Israelis HATE Muslims! I grew up in a home with a rough-neck, God fearing, Texan and a Mother with a heritage of hatred towards Muslims AND I just spent six years in the Marine Corps with multiple OIF and OEF deployments. I'm not with the Muslims and I shared your same hatred until I deployed a couple times and actually realized they were not all bad. Believe what you want about the Muslims people, that's the right many men like me and men before me fought to give you brother.

Being American does not put me in a "group". It is a nation of many "groups" held together by a social bond. Apples and oranges.

They chose to be Muslim. It's a choice. As for criminal Americans, if I could I would hunt those bastards down and deal with them. However I am not a LEO, but I do contribute to their salaries and I do show up for jury duty. :wink1:

Now if I chose to be Muslim, and I didn't fight the extremists with every means possible, or just leave a religion that shows to create murdering cowards, then yes I am one in the same.

There has to be some sort of accountability. They commit crimes in the name of their religion. If you are a believer, it is your responsibility to control such actions, or face the demonization of your entire belief system. Religion can be great, but it can also be a burden.
