Ooohhhh, so only a minority of Muslims want me dead, phew. Well ge I guess since that's only about 100 million people, it really is a peaceful religion!

Not all of them want me dead, but I feel these "good Muslims" are responsible for cleaning up their religion. Until then they share in the guilt of every innocent person killed in the name of their belief system, like it or not. If these cowardly and despicable acts continue to be carried out in the name of Islam, the religion as a whole will be demonized by the rest of the masses.

Do you need me to name them off for you for Islam? Or are you blind and deaf as well and haven't heard of them?
Touchy touchy, relax preppie, it's just a brewski. Yeah, there have never been any theocracies, ever, lol. Vatican City still exists right now last I heard. Religions rule nations from time to time and it generally ends badly.

        Christians have never been Anti-Semitic?

Without googling I don't know the passages, but there are a fair amount of anti-semitic passages in the new testament. I think it's funny that my own mother blames the jews for killing jesus, but had his murder and resurrection not occurred he wouldn't have been seen as the messiah.

Could be worse, some Jewish leader in WWII wanted a Catholic leader to help get them out of somewhere(Poland?) and his response was something like "I won't help you and you WILL be killed. This will be your punishment for killing our savior." So much for letting something that happened 2K years ago slide like so many people in this thread have suggested others do.

I agree that we've got a lot of problems and we need to temporarily close up our borders and fix up home a bit rather than going around shedding American blood on foreign shit holes trying to be world police.

A minority of Americans are into a variety of shitty groups does that mean we all as Americans share in the guilt of their crimes and are responsible with eradicating them???

I see what you're saying and even somewhat agree, but I just don't think it's that easy.

I don't know a whole lot about the Muslim world, but I've read a couple books and watched a few documentaries in the last 10 years. Their society/values/beliefs are so drastically different than ours and we don't understand each other.

Everyone sees the world uniquely. What you see is slightly different than what I see despite probably being VERY similar people from a global perspective. People also think that others see things in a very similar fashion to themselves, but we REALLY don't even in the same culture, let alone in wildly different cultures.

I wish they would hurry up and run out of oil. They would basically become isolated and left to their own devices. Would probably be interesting to watch from afar.

No true Christian is anti-Semitic, given that Christianity was born out of Judaism in the first place and Jesus Himself was of the lineage of King David. Also, the Jews were God's chosen people and no true Christian is going to be or should be in opposition to anything or anybody chosen by God Himself.

There are no anti-Semitic passages in the New Testament, for the reasons given in my post above. Whether or not your own mother blames the Jews for killing Jesus, that doesn't change the truth that it was all of mankind's sins, not just those of the Jews, that were the reason for Jesus' death.

Similarly some un-named Catholic leader's response to some un-named Jewish leader in WWII, even if verified in the context you post, means nothing. Such a Catholic leader would simply be wrong, and regardless he would have no authority to be speaking for me or any other Christian simply because of his position in his church's hierarchy.

If the majority of muslims dismiss extremists as "not true muslims" I doubt you'll so easily accept it

Right or wrong, despite your feelings, doesn't make it any less real. Shit, isn't Mel Gibson drunkenly ranting about jews every few months? lol

I've noticed you have an odd disdain for wikipedia, but it seemed to have the best story on the subject from my quick google search.

Just search for this guy; Archbishop Karol Kmetko

While I do still own a Mustang (that I've had almost 13 years) and do post on this site occasionally I'm not the typical narrow minded dfwstanger in jorts wearing a mustard stained Dale JR t-shirt. I do faggy liberal stuff like watch documentaries and read books. I identify with the Libertarian party the most and generally vote Republican. I want this country to get back to the Republic we once were and to more closely adhere to the Constitution and drastically reduce the size and power of gov't. I don't know a lot, but I try to learn more everyday and do my best not to post untruths or misinformation.

Karl Kmetko did exist and I did not make him or that story up.

                Antisemitic attitude

Archbishop Kmetko was notoriously anti-semitic. In March 1942, prior to the spread of any awareness of Hitler's policy of extermination, Rabbi Michoel Dov Ber Weissmandl of Nitra had convinced his father-in-law Rabbi Samuel David Ungar to speak to the Archbishop about stopping the deportations of Jews out of Slovakia. Kmetko was obviously privy to knowledge that both Weissmandl and Unger were unaware. Kmetko told Unger, "This is not merely a deportation of the Jews of Slovakia. You will not merely die of hunger and disease on account of the deportation. No. You will be killed. Young and old alike. Women and children alike. This is your Divine punishment for your having murdered Our Savior."[2]

Kmetko refused Unger's pleas to assist in any manner.

The Catholic Church has never apologized for Kmetko's lack of assistance to his Slovakian "elder brother's in faith."

                • Again, this Archbishop Kmetco had no authority to speak for anyone but himself, any more than those Westboro Baptist Church attention whores of today have authority to speak for anyone but themselves. So he was anti-Semitic according to your source....that means nothing with respect to Christians (like me) who are not.

By the way, your posts are fine as far as I'm concerned.

                  • He can't speak for anyone else (or the religion), just like the terrorists are not representative of other Muslims and that religion.

This is one of the many lies of Islam. If they had the same patriarch, why do Islamists scream "Allahu Ahkbar" before blowing themselves up? It translates to Allah is Greatest by the way..... could it be because the Judeo Christian God answers to a different name?

God and Allah are not the same..... they aren't even close. They are diametrically opposed.

You'll find the Quran even instructs Muslims to lie to non believers. They are outright told to deceive. It's where the entire "religion of peace" argument generates from. What about Egypt today makes you think it is a religion of peace? Or Iraq? Or Iran, or Afganistan? Does that look like peace to you?

                        • The God of Abraham is the same for Judaism, Christianity, Mormonism, and Islam. Whether you choose to accept that is another thing entirely. And like has been said MANY times, the Spanish Inquisition and the Crusades were both bloody wars fought in the name of God, by Christians. So yes, the violence going on now is being done by Muslims... but it's not like worse hasn't happened in the past.

It is not promoting violence against those who don't agree with me. I would appreciate it if you would stop adding to the scenario at hand... deliberately.

The only violence is against the ones carrying out the act of killing the babies, nothing more, nothing less. Personally, I would be against it with or without Christ in my life. How do I know this? There was a time when I didn't accept Jesus as my Savior and the feeling about abortion was still the same.

ONCE AGAIN, for those who seem to have either limited comprehension abilities or just flat out refuse to acknowledge the difference... There IS a difference in taking action to defend the senseless slaughter of innocent babies vs. killing and terrorizing people by the masses just because they don't share the same beliefs.

Yes and if we are gonna try and go fix the problem, I say stop fucking around and use the big weapons on their ass. Hell once we show these insurgents what we have they might think twice about fucking with the US of A!
