Kurds send women to fight ISIS

The Kurds have adopted a rather unique strategy for not only eliminating their targets, but also humiliating them along the way.

According to WZ, Kurds are deploying whole units comprised of female fighters to the front line, which has boosted their recruitment numbers, and given them a psychological edge over ISIS. One female fighter explained why the Kurds have decided to put women in the thick of the battle, and it’s sure to make radical Islamists go crazy.

“The jihadists don’t like fighting women, because if they’re killed by a female, they think they won’t go to heaven.”

For example what would they actually do if they were unopposed in iraq? Doesnt islam call for some other type of government than it has now

The Kurds have one of the better army's / Militia's in that region. I think they have fought every country around them at one time or another and never got their asses kicked in a fair fight.

I went to college with a Kurdish guy, and he was a completely stand-up individual. He was a translator for the Marines, and as thanks, the State Department brought him and his immediate family here. Well-deserved, IMO. He did say frequently that he worried about his extended family there, because of the instability.

If there is a sect, tribe over there that is worth supporting it's the Kurds. They don't switch sides or go bat shit crazy over stuff. They just want an autonomous state of Kurdistan.
