In history how many people were killed in the name of a higher power?

How many people were killed by non believers for believing? How many believers have killed non believers or for believing something different.

I don't see how religion has improved anyones way of life, it may help you sleep at night but that's about as far as it goes. I don't push my non believing ways on others, maybe when atheists question religion it's considered an attack on religion?

Your body is your temple, do with it as you see fit, but it's not anyone's right to push a religious agenda just the same as an anti religion agenda.

    Pretty fucking simple.

The easiest I can explain how I see all "religious" groups is in 3 groupimgs.

1 Nondenominational /private practicing people. I consider this your average person that follows their beliefs and keeps them to themselves.

2 The thumpers. Nothing wrong with these people, but they can be annoying at times when trying to spread their beliefs.

3 Extremists. These are the David Koresh, the brain washing leaders, Westborough church, Jihad, basically every crazy fucker out there that wants everyone that disagrees with them to burn. These are the ones that ironically are fighting for their beliefs while making hell on earth.
