Bang up job we did out there. I bet veterans of Iraq are fucking pissed.
Not at all. I knew this was coming the second he put a priority over looking good on ending the war than finishing the war. My blood is in those sands and I hope it kills all of them.

Let them get nice and comfortable and then carpet nuke the whole region. I'll pay $10 a gallon if it funds the "cleansing".

Is there really nowhere else we could go for oil. . and just let those savages keep it

You know the government will never do anything right so we should just buy it someplace else

You know our leader is terrible when Iran is the one coming to the rescue:

Iran is coming to the aid of its historic nemesis, sending elite fighters to Iraq in the wake of a Sunni insurgency that has claimed two key northern cities and now threatens Baghdad, Fox News has learned.

Some 150 fighters from the Revolutionary Guards elite Quds force have already been dispatched by Tehran, and the division's powerful commander, Qassem Suleimani, met with Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki Thursday and pledged to send two notorious Iranian brigades to aid in the defense of Baghdad. That could amount to as many as 10,000 soldiers sent to fight the Sunni group known as Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant (ISIS).

Maliki is believed to be considering the offer, especially in light of reported decisions by the U.S. to reject his request for American airstrikes against the Al Qaeda-affiliated militants who have recently overrun Mosul and Tikrit and appear to be preparing for a march on the capital. The two brigades that Suleimani offered are Asaab Ahel Haq, a Shi’ite paramilitary unit, and the Shi’ite insurgency group Kata'ib Hezbollah.

Iran has backed the government all along because it is a Shiite entity. I think this is good, let them go at it. Letting Iran and Al Qaeda slug it out is a good idea.

I see the wisdom in that.

Obama wants this since gas prices will go up, oil is already at $107 this morning.

This is bad deal for relations in the middle east with our allies since no one will trust us. We have already screwed over Israel, Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Pakistan and now Turkey is starting to realize they may be on their own. Things ever go south with Russia or China we will not have much help over there or be able to access any military bases.

It will be interesting to see how this turns out. Al Queda is distancing themselves from ISIS sine they are so hardcore and ISIS is now very rich with the money/gold they have taken from different banks in Iraq. Add the fact that a ton of our equipment was left over there we may have some huge problem. Give it time they will hire mercenaries to operate the equipment. Give it more time and if they take over any countries that have nukes there will be a huge war. Problem is we will not be facing a country where we can attack them at a certain location, we will be facing pockets of resistance.

Obama is on TV warning the Iraq government that they need to get serious. He says his best people are coming up with options for him to pick from. He looks like such a puss up there!

So we are taking the wait and see leadership approach, while the Russians and Iranians are screaming to the UN that this is all our fault. Well at least Israel isn't being attacked yet.

His best people are John Kerry and Chuck Hagel. One was a swift boat commander and the other a squad leader. We literally have a squad sgt running the most powerful military in the world.

If ever there was a test for the doctrine of "salute the rank, not the man" him and Obama would be it.

I can't be the only person chortling with laughter at the threat of Obama putting his best people on something, can I? I wouldn't trust that dumbasses best people to manage a hot dog stand. I knew this shit was going to happen.
