“It’s not because I don’t like paying taxes,” said Gardner, who attended both meetings. “I have voted for every park, every library, all the school improvements, for light rail, for anything that will make this city better. But now I can’t afford to live here anymore. I’ll protest my appraisal notice, but that’s not enough. Someone needs to step in and address the big picture.”I wear a Fez. Fez-es are cool

Austin Liberals Suffer
Just wait until Buckwheat's new EPA crap causes Austin to have black outs and the AC's won't work in a Texas Summer. Guess they can all go skinny dipping at Hippy Hollow to keep cool. I wonder if that lite rail runs on electricity. Hell, how will they get around ? There wont be power to run compressors to air up their bicycle tires. I know they are too dumb and lazy to use a hand pump. Maybe they can get an illegal alien to do it for them.

This guy runs up to them and says, "Hey, the world's coming to an end!" and the first one says, "Well, I best go to the mission and pray," and the second one says, "Well, hell, I'm gonna go and buy me a case of Mezcal and six whores," and the third one says "Well, I'm gonna finish the game." I shall finish the game, Doc.

Boo fucking hoo.
This just illustrates one of the things that is wrong with this country, everyone is in favor of all the FREE SHIT! they can possibly get from the government. The minute they have to pay for it though, it is a Greek fucking tragedy.Originally posted by racrguyWhat's your beef with NPR, because their listeners are typically more informed than others?Originally posted by racrguyVoting is a constitutional right, overthrowing the government isn't.
