  • SO did your guy win?

I was looking at the election results. I was surprised that Ralph Hall was finally unseated.

Also the results between Deuell and Bob Hall were extremely close.

I'm glad he was. My dad is 62 and he is largely out of touch with social issues, a 91 year old is completely out of touch and has no business representing anyone. And fuck him for serving 18 terms. It should be capped at 4, on the absolute outside.

Exactly! Here in Rockwall they worship the guy it seems. A lot of older people especially. I understand a few years ago he switched parties, possibly because he knew if he stayed a Dem, he was about to get voted out. I hate career politicians.

Yet he was the only one willing to fight with the VA for me.

For what it was worth. The VA told his office "Yeah, we'll get to his file in 3 years or so. We haven't even started 2010-2011 yet."

Good god man. It took me 8 months to get in after I filed for service related disability.

Just about every candidate I voted for got in. It seems the trend is if you're endorsed by the tea party, you destroyed your opponent.

Locally, sort of. Statewide nope and they all suck.

I'm curious, which statewide race didn't go to the one endorsed by the tea party? (excluding democrat seats, of course).
