    That is something I would want to do some digging into. That is a really interesting and sad thing to happen in oir history, and I bet it would be very interesting to find out the truth, be it good or bad.

      And today Wall Street is still amassing fortunes and the average person is worse off than they were before '07. Coincidence or history repeating itself over and over? The next crash is going to make '07 look like happy times too.

        That Ludlow massacre is pretty standard fare for the times. Blair Mountain involved a lot of Tommy Gun toting state police but it was the same premise, although few people died.

        Just remember that the media was also owned by a lot of the same rich assholes who controlled other industries. Like Hearst who basically caused the Spanish American was with his bullshit. They sensationalized things at the time, just like they do today. Take it all with a grain of salt and remember that everyone treated everyone else like shit prior to about 1970.
