What do you guys think of Chris Krok? I see him as a bible thumping attention whore that spends every show judging local people's personal business. All the guy ever focuses on is social issues. One of the biggest qualms I have with conservatives. He embodies just about all of it.

I listen to NPR regularly for information, but most of the time when they offer up solutions I find myself thinking "What? That'll NEVER work in real life."

I will listen to Church and Smerconish in the mornings. I've never heard Savage on Sirius and I don't even know if he is on any channels.

It's quite entertaining, intellectual, and educational. The best hosts interject their opinions occasionally but mostly are covering the facts. You get smarter and more informed, instead of just listening to music and not getting any real benefit. But honestly, that is exactly what I thought you were going to post in regards to talk radio.

That's weird since I've listened to a lot of it in the past due to other people and I've never come across anything that wasn't ridiculously biased and annoying. Of course it's pretty easy to find one that lines up with your already established opinions and then sit there for four hours saying "right on, MANNNN!!" and feel like your brain is getting a real work out I suppose. Let's face it, if their opinions were really that revolutionary they wouldn't be on radio. I don't think all of my opinions combined could fill up one time slot on one of those shows.

I've given up on talk radio in general but Savage was one of the worst. I always like G. Gordon Liddy when he had his show. I think Mark Davis is cool but I'm working when he is on. I used to see him ever Wednesday morning at the Einstein Bagel in Flower Mound. Cool dude.

Now I only listen to Ed Wallace. Mainly for the cars but that guys has common sense that isn't very common these days. His Backside of American History segment is some of the best radio you can ever listen to. I also enjoy the oil report and Second Hand News. Good stuff.

I fucking loathe Krok. He is a sanctimonious cunt. I catch him on the way home M-Thur, his show actually makes me mad enough to pass the time and keep me awake. HE is what the republican party has become. He stands on this ivory platform of a religion that he doesn't sound like he belongs to and casts down the judgments of a proper pharisee. He is quick to tell everyone how fucked up they are as he's doing things right, blah blah blah.

You can't hardly understand the guy with the dick sucking he does of the police, and the judgmental approach takes with everyone that has a differing opinion, and the inferential leaps he makes are superhero in distance. Plus, he won't reply to his critics, just those that are willing to pat him on his weak, estrogen shaped back.

I don't know about that. I keep saying that Republicans need to abandon the social platform - COMPLETELY. They should stick to the economics, embrace individual liberty and quit playing lose-it-all-the-time-tug-o-war with the dems over abortion, entitlements, gay marriage and so forth.

Stand up, speak firmly and say "Go ahead, suck his dick, and elect us because we hear semen tastes better with lower taxes." Or simple "What YOU do with YOUR body is none of OUR fucking business, and so long as it doesn't serve as a determent to society as a whole - then go crazy." But they won't do that, because for some reason, they want to play nanny and control the bedroom, so fuck em.



And for talk show's in general - I'm going with conservative, because that's what I primarily subject myself to (although the ticket is taking a solid foothold) - but the buzzwords. For Christ's sake, do they build a buzzword database that they hammer into the ground and use at all given points? Stop. Or the saddling up and riding of key minority figures. We get it, Ben Carson is conservative, Allen West is too, who gives a shit? Quit sucking these guys off based on their color aligning with your view point. Neither republicans or democrats take a man at the content of his character, they simply race bait and try to prop up the darkest toned figure they can in an attempt to appear progressive and accepting...while they check the gums to make sure the politician has good teeth.
