You know. Those people.
As if corporations don't already have enough fucking power in this country. The "Go work somewhere else" argument only works until every employer out there is offering some sort of asinine bullshit excuse to not cover something. I hope Hobby Lobby tanks. I'll never buy anything there again. If you want to celebrate your religion go open a fucking church.

Past a certain amount of employees, yes they should. I'd be willing to offer a trade perhaps. End all business lobbying and campaign contributions in this country and make the rest of the playing field a little more fair, and maybe I'd change my opinion.

So when looking for a job, one of the 'perks' was to get offered health coverage, and that may sway you to choosing that company, even if the pay wasnt equal. Now we expect it to be offered, and make laws to ensure that it happens."If I asked people what they wanted, they would have said faster horses." - Henry Ford

Let's be clear, the ACA was not a solution to a problem, it was another problem that exacerbated an already large problem. Insurance should be used in case of emergency, not regular maintenance.
Do you use your car insurance for maintaining your vehicle? Perhaps home owners insurance for regular upkeep on your house. Health is the only institution where we use insurance for maintenance duties, and the reason it has become as such is because 1) insurance is paying for it, leading to the idea that "It's not my money, so why do I care?" We need to tackle the cost and mindset issues, not who's going to pay for it.Last edited by racrguy; 06-30-2014, 11:45 AM.

READ THE OPINION, make your own determination. If you go to work for a closely held corporation that holds their religious tenants in high regard, then expect them to be able to operate as they see fit. Which is exactly how it should be. The government should have ZERO say in how a company operates.
The discussion will become how broad "closely held" will be defined.
