It was much easier to be calm and let the people with level heads work their magic. The fact of the matter is, I did break the law, and I was fully aware that I was doing it, but didnt give a fuck. Plus, my home life was extremely odd, being that I didnt have one, and was more or less the "guy on the couch" for a while. I was renting a room at the time, but that isnt exactly cool as far as the school district was concerned. I didnt need to make any more waves than I had to.

I remember bringing a .357 hollow point round for show and tell in elementary school. Heck I was writing with it in class as a joke.

I also had a hollowed out hand grenade in my truck through most of high school.

        Drug Dogs

Many years ago a friend's son had a show pig for FFA. He had two bags of hog chow in the trunk of his car and was going out after school to tend to the pig. The principal, several cops, and several teachers came and got him out of class because the drug dogs had gone crazy over his car. When he opened the trunk, there was the bad stuff the dogs found......2 50 pound bags of Purina hog chow.

Hence why I will eventually sell all my toys & move out to the middle of no where. Things are getting out of hand in this country & its happening at a faster rate. Hell I remember my grandparents saying back when I was 8 years old in the mid 80s this country is going to shit. I never understood what they meant. But if they could only see it now

Back in 04 during dove season I left my shot gun in the passenger floorboard/seat. Was a fuss about it but ultimately was told to just take it home.

Cigarettes in your car at my high school was an automatic month stay at alternative school plus a ticket. Firearm in the car would probably get you expelled. I carried a knife through high school but I know people that were suspended and went to alternative school because of having one.

My beat friend in elementary had a live shotgun shell in his backpack from dove hunting the weekend before. He got a three day suspension.

in '94, 14 year old me took a 4" lockback Buck knife to school, pretty much just for the hell of it. Showed it to a buddy of mine who proceeded to lose his shit and went and told on me. Got pulled out of class, was told to empty my locker (where I had stashed it). Principal had a nice little chat with me. We had developed somewhat of a rapport that year, damn near on a first-name basis with each other. Told me point blank that the school rules "allowed" him to press full charges on me, but he knew me, and knew there was zero malice in my actions, so he didn't. Didn't even call the cops. Told me that since he "had to do something about it, per school rules", I had to be suspended for 3 days. Hell, I got in more trouble with my folks than I did with the school.

Go back just 2 years, however, and I got suspended for 2 1/2 weeks (technically it was until I got my Ritalin Rx transferred from where I was living prior to moving, which amazingly took for fucking ever) because I "threatened to stab another student with a piece of wire shower curtain hanger". Which was not true. Kid wouldn't let me out of the bathroom, so I told him if he didn't, I'd scratch him with it. (It was still in "shower curtain holder" form, bent/rounded and whatnot). He bitched to the principal, who, in turn, called my folks, and while standing in front of them, stretched the piece of hanger out straight, and told them this kid said I threatened to stab him with it. Was total fucking bullshit, and that bitch is the biggest cunt on the planet for that. And of course my folks believed "her" story.

Point is that Common Sense is either hit or miss with school officials. Been that way for a long damn time.

If I ever find a women worth marrying I really hope she doesn't want kids, I don't see things getting any better in the next 20 years.

Was it you that got ISS for splashing some kids with your car?

I accidentally walked into elementary school one day with about 50 rds of .22s I left in my pocket after hunting that weekend.

Same stuff went on at my high school. They basically treat the kids like they dont have rights. They probly know the kids will talk and try and make it some kind of example. But it instilled an early hatred of police in me, where there was none before

The same thing happened to lots of kids at Penn State, it's okay to talk about it.

There were no police officers/security in our schools. It's a very sad situation our public school system is in right now. Borderlines on prison, except kids are supposed to be making stupid mistakes and learning.
