It raised a few questions

Recently voted and it brought up two questions in my mind. When you vote you have to have your registration card. I had to get my DL changed to a different address. And they took all these finger prints with some scanning machine. Why? Why do they need that kind of precision?

And why does the cop always ask you "Are you still living at [address]?" when you get pulled over? I dont think i like any of it. Makes me want to lie and tell him hell naw

It ties together somehow and it feels like more than they need to know

I think the law says that you have 30 days to change your address on a drivers license if you move. If they ask you if you still live there, and you say that you don't, that could be a ticket in addition to what they stopped you for. say, REVENUE !

I think he was referring to the process of renewing his DL, not voting.

I figured that by the time I have to renew my license again in 2015, they will be requiring a blood sample.
