I label him because his language is just as provocative as the stupid ass "laws." His fortitude is an unknown variable until they're knocking on his door, or kicking it down.

I'd say putting your name to a statement like that is fortitude.

My Gunny said he would if he were ordered to do so and a law such as Connecticut's was on the books. A paycheck as cited as the reason too. He said at the end of the day he has to think about his wife and two kids, and that if he choose not to do it they would just find someone else to take his place.

I was fuckin livid. People from down the hallway were coming in to check on us. I'm just a Sgt. so I'm surprised more didn't come of it but damn that pushed some buttons in my brain when he said that. I almost flew completely off the handle.

But it just goes to show that we probably won't be well represented by the authorities when the hammer drops. They are just going to do what they are told.

Most of the new kids coming in have no idea what's in the Constitution. They would follow those orders if they came down. I have no doubt about it.

History is full of sheep just like that. And they'll murder women and children for a paycheck.

I disagree. We all post some anti-government shit, even that retard lajtx or whatever the fuck his name is, does that mean we all have fortitude? Hardly. Words are cheap, actions aren't.

They are grandstanding. Nothing more. If you're prepared, then STFU and jump, Froggy. If you aren't, you're going to make noise. The real question is: Are you prepared to die for your beliefs? Not whether they are willing to shoot back.

Right. I think our government is atrocious, and I think the public has granted them the power to completely disregard the constitution and do what they feel in their state of power-drunkenness and there is nothing we're going to do to stop them.

Given they will be "confronting" one household at a time it will be weeks before we hear of the "common" fight back, especially if the media keeps it all under wraps.

My guess is they take down around 10 Offenders and then giving folks another opportunity to turn stuff in. 40% will cave and turn guns in and the powers that be will claim victory. The 60% will keep their guns and there will be only an occasional issue when someone is arrested for having "illegal" guns posted on the news. No more "raids" for weapons because cops will start getting hurt or killed and their UNION will put an end to that! LOL!

Only way the public would have a chance to make a stand, is if an informer tells when the next "no-knock" warrant is being served and a militia is there to confront.

                  You know...like Concord, 1775.

I think some of you are forgetting what is happening Ukraine as we discuss this. I am sure a few months ago things were looking bad there, but I bet few citizens would have honestly thought there would be a full on uprising and start of a war with Russia soon. Things can start escalating very fast, and it is easier than you think for the general populace to reach their tipping point. I don't know it that will happen in Connecticut but I would not discount it either.
I don't like Republicans, but I really FUCKING hate Democrats.

250 LEOs say, "we ain't confiscating"

A showdown is developing between a sizable number of Connecticut state police officers and the politicians who passed into law highly restrictive gun control, gun bans, and bans on high capacity magazines.

Gun rights legal expert and activist David Hardy reported Friday that 250 law enforcement officers in Connecticut have signed an open letter stating that they will not enforce the new anti-gun and magazine laws, which they consider to be a violation of the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

A major news story on these developments is due to be published soon, but Hardy received an advanced notice via email from Tyler Jackson, the head of the Connecticut Peace Officers Association, the organization that sent the open letter.

                        According to Hardy,

Tyler Jackson has emailed me an interesting story, soon to appear online (I'll link to it once it does)-- the gist is that the head of the Connecticut Peace Officers' Assn has released an open letter stating that the police will not "be party to the oppression of the people of the state by enforcing an unconstitutional law." So far 250 LEOs have cosigned the letter.

That's 250 cops that value their lives. All it takes is one person deciding they aren't going to have their shit confiscated and all hell will break loose.
