U.S. Veteran Charged For Missing Equipment Nearly A Decade Later

I got nailed for an enlistment bonus, that was not in my contract and that I was never paid. Tried 4 times at finance to get that straightened out - ETS'ed and went on my credit report.

I was too young to care, but it's those things that add up when you think about more and more government involvement in day to day lives.

Edit: It's why I still have that damned contract laying around in some box though.
