Standard & Poors declares in court the Obama admin suing them as retribution

Megyn Kelly opened her show tonight with news that Standard & Poors declared in a sworn statement in court that they believe the Obama administration has filed a lawsuit against them as political retaliation for the 2011 downgrade. And they cite a phone conversation with Tim Geithner where he said the following:

“[Geithner] said that, ‘you have done an enormous disservice to yourselves and to your country. S&P’s conduct would be ‘looked at very carefully’ he said. Such behavior could not occur, he said, without a response from the government.”
