Oh...now this cheeses me...the former husband cashed in his 401k for her Harvard education!
...
"When she was accepted to Harvard Law School, Jeff Davis cashed in his 401(k) account and eventually took out a loan to pay for her final year there," Slater reports.
...
Davis is out there now saying this is just spin from the Greg Abbott campaign.
Wayne Slater, the original article writer, is saying...no, I never talked with Abbot's campaign.
Wayne Slater @WayneSlater Jan 19
@jrotkoff Story was about Davis, not Abbott. And in researching, I talked to no - zero - Abbott people. They saw story this morn when u did"Self-government won't work without self-discipline." - Paul Harvey

LOL, big difference between a 6th grade education and dropping out in the 9th grade.
Meanwhile, another potential question about Davis’ past comes from the Facebook page of her mother, Ginger Cornstubble, which references attending Muleshoe High School in West Texas. That contradicts a 2012 suggestion by Davis that her mother had just a sixth grade education.
The Davis campaign said Monday that her mother “had attended school only into the ninth grade.”

Abbott went to UT Austin and then Vanderbilt. His political beliefs are pretty clear, he's a constitutional conservative.

If she is indeed an Obama Puppet - hope she doesn't get groomed for a Democratic Presidential Candidate. I think Hillary is out of the picture - but Wendy Davis could potientially be touted as a Democratic President choice. If she has the backing from Obama - then she has the finanical resources to run.
Low information voters will vote for her. I think Texas should be scared and we (conseratives) should help unite against her - and stand with Abbot who has a chance to get elected.

I do not care for her at all as a candidate but I also do not care for Abbott.
I'd like to point out Greg Abbott's past as well... i.e. Being uninsured, running during a thunderstorm, having a tree fall on him, suing the homeowners and getting the law firm to pay his medical bills. Basically, Abbott relied on progressive laws in place at the time (no tort reform) to pay for his medical care and to enrich himself at the expense of homeowners because they had the misfortune of owning a tree.
Basically this election is between 2 people who are not the same person that they claim to be. This is just another case of choosing the lesser of 2 evils. It would be great if a third party candidate who is not blinded by the petty politics that are keeping us from progress. Both of these candidates are as crooked as our president and are a bad chose for Texas and our future.
To bad our systems are what they are today. To bad we as a nation ar so divided that we refuse to cross borders to start repairing the foundation in which this great Nation was founded. Instead of it being a "what is the best for the common good of all mankind" it is a "I hate the other party and we will do whatever we have to do at all cost to win"

If you've never had to deal with him or his office, I can see your stance. But the guy is a slimey piece of shit. I encourage you to look in to what he's done as AG. Specifically, having to do with family law and child support. While Abbott doesn't see each case individually, he sets the tone. His lack of a spine is why the sorry piece of shit can't get up out of that wheelchair.
There's also the below about his accident.

That motherfucker is the very definition of a shitty politician that doesn't care about anyone except himself and his own views. Thankfully he isn't running for Lieutenant Governor.
I also personally disagree with the religion he is trying to shove down everyone's throat. I also don't fall for the pounding on his chest he has been doing about Obama, Obamacare, etc. He's not wrong on Obamacare, but he's only stomping his feet to gain votes. It's all campaign trail bullshit and he won't live up to a single word of it.Originally posted by BradMBut, just like condoms and women's rights, I don't believe in them.Originally posted by LeahIn other news: Brent's meat melts in your mouth.
