Well, the government would never lie, you know... Don't get me wrong, I'm not making this out to be some huge conspiracy. But the ATF screwed the pooch from the get go on that deal, and they'd have said anything to try and save face. No argument from me, I just dislike conclusive statements with the reality was inconclusive. I was a Senior in HS, and my Health teacher(coach)engaged us often about the event and would turn on the TV to see where the standoff was every day in class. He did it at the very start of class that day; the fire had just started to be visible and we sat there and watched it for the entire hour. By the end of class it was burned to the ground.

Are you serious? You are either brain washed or totally naive. When I fill up my truck it takes 140 gallon of diesel and no one ask me to fill out a 4473 before I am allowed to fill it. I could drive around today and be able to purchase the same amount of materials before lunch. Give me your address and I could have 20k lbs of fertilizer dropped off in your driveway; that is 4 pallets worth and McVeigh only used 7000lbs.

At most Tractor Supply stores they have 5000lbs of the "correct" fertilizer sitting on the lot and you could buy the whole pallet with out them asking a single question. You could even steal it after they close if you were up to no good since it is not even behind a fence at the store I am thinking about. Most feed mills have 20-30 thousand pounds of it on hand during certain times of the year and will deliver it for a small fee. We use billions of pounds of it every year in this country and it is not exactly hard to come by.

You mean gassing up a 400 gallon tank that is used to fuel farm equipment in the field and then popping over to home depot for all the fertilizer that a man could want while filing it under 'farm use?' Happens every day as some people still use these for intended purposes and feds don't blink.
