I USED to make fun of these people.... I've bought more guns and ammo in the last month than I have in the last 30 years....

I did too, and I have as well. I purposely over-shop at the grocery store and have been stocking canned goods, peanut butter, bottled water, oatmeal, etc just in case. Even if the zombies never come, the civil war never breaks out, or anything else, i'll still be prepared for a bad winter storm or any other number of natural or man-made disasters.

Mines not a book...Except for electricity, I am self sufficent. And if I can get gas, I can cut the power.... My current stock of cattle and chickens will be enough. I will miss my beer and wine though

Didn't the republicans try this same thing years ago?

They openly discussed it, but the outcry from the Democrats (as seen in the above Joe Biden video) persuaded them to not pursue it.
