Wendy Davis' open senate seat

So, I was reading the startle-gram article today about her open seat now and they ran down a list of candidates who have expressed some interest in running. I'm only familiar with one or two of them listed so I'm hoping others can provide input on who would make a decent candidate.

Shelton sounds like he'll make a strong showing. I think it'll get an R ass in that seat after Davis' stunt. No one wants to put another dipshit in there (or at least admitting it). That's why the Dems aren't jumping at this... Yet. They'll get some sucker running, though.

No but her seat is up for election again next year, she won't win if she doesn't campaign. She'll be too busy in DC trying to get money from the DNC to run in two elections.
