DoD "No death benefits during shut down."

Can afford to provide logistics for the illegal immigrant rally on the National Mall (while denying vets the ability to visit their own memorials) but not to pay the families of those who sacrificed their lives. The DoD came out today and said they are not paying death benefits, flying the families of the fallen to Dover to welcome their bodies home or reimbursing families for funerals.

Yep, but my only hope is that the GOP toes the line and doesn't back down. This is just another cheap shot by the commies in control to try and lay the blame on the Republicans who stand for the common good. If they stand strong, people will eventually come around to see the truth. That is the only way things will get better and the only way we'll see real change. If they give in now, it'll be a catastrophe and major setback because the minions are too stupid to see the truth.

In his press conference Boehner just said that Congress passed a bill last week that gives DoD full authority to pay all their bills, including death benefits. He's leading that it is DoD's decision not to pay this, however, Congress will be going to the table tomorrow to force DoD to pay these benefits.
