Why should I be held responsible for someone else's sin? I'm referring to the one that was "committed" in the Garden of Eden.

Are you sure that you are not today committing the same sin?

I am, as often as possible.

Why should we be thrown onto this world with a structure that is based on the relationship of two people to a god from thousands of years ago? What happened long ago should be between those parties. What contractual relationship do I have with Adam?

The same parties are here today, those being God, mankind, and Satan, and mankind since Adam and Eve has continued to commit the original sin.

In this new age of reason and evidence, I am only able to conclude one kind. Whatever answers you find, never stop questioning.

I’m curious, are you actually struggling with this or are you simply pointing out something that seems ridiculous to you?

For me... I'm always looking for that door right in front of my face that has never been noticed.
It seems odd that a world of generations of people should be made burden because of two people's relationship to G#d or a god thousands of years ago. That problem, if it is one, should be between those of the original party. Working within the same system, if I become a Christian in every possibility, wouldn't my offspring all be saved as well?
I think I'm missing something but it is not readily apparent.

They would have free will just as the rest of mankind does, and they would therefore decide on their own whether to accept Jesus as their Savior.

But Adam and Eve had free will in the garden under a separate structure. Why are we forced to live under the Adam and Eves structure?

What was different about their structure? They had free will to accept or not accept God's instructions regarding good and evil. They chose to decide for themselves what was good and evil, no differently than mankind often does today.

Adam and Eve suffered the consequences and were no longer allowed to live in the garden. What does their thoughts and actions have to do with me. They were humans no different than you or me. Why should we all have to live in a world that is limited by two people from so long ago, if it indeed it is limited?

I'm guessing you have never sinned since you are worried about someone else's transgressions.

Sin is nothing more than a made up concept, so why are you worried about him questioning the reasons he's held accountable for another persons actions?
