Putin urges US to hold off on striking Syria

The Russian leader implied the chemical attack came from among the rebels, saying he was convinced it was a provocation carried out by those who wanted to draw in the United States.

If the Americans have evidence to the contrary they should present it to the United Nations inspectors and the U.N. Security Council, he said. "If there is evidence it should be presented," Putin said. "If it is not presented, that means it does not exist."

"We have to remember what has happened in the last decades, how many times the United States has been the initiator of armed conflict in different regions of the world," Putin said. "Did this resolve even one problem?"

I believe Putin is right here. We cannot afford to go to war again over some made up chemical attacks that may or may not have happened. I for sure don't believe a word coming from this regime, and definitely not from Secretary of State "Hanoi Kerry"

It is the person that is known for being blunt and to the point that you should always trust to tell you the truth. I have found in my years, as a blunt person in the workplace that it is a bad trait to have but I will not trade it for anything. He alleged that it flew in the face of conventional wisdom that Assad, who was in a good position in this conflict without the use of chemical agents, would then use those agents & draw intense scrutiny from the west. He further stated that an AP reporter had interviewed a rebel, who admitted to improperly handling of the nerve gas & that it was their own fault. This story was linked on Infowars.com. He went on to say that in his own line of work, industrial biohazard (or something?), the way people were killed was more common with an accidental release. He was more succinct; I can't reiterate as concisely, but those are the fundamentals.
