I'm not sure what I'm going on about with this group. I just drove by their HQ on my way to lunch. Several young men with books looking very much like clean cut Mormons were leaving the building. They looked like they were under duress.
How is one converted to this group? Baptism, sell your first born, buy Tarot cards...?

What do Mormons look like that enables you to readily distinguish them from the general population?

White dress shirt with button down collar, black trousers, shiny black shoes, hair cut - maybe a little too short, books/literature, traveling in pairs, usually males in early twenties... although bicycles were missing here.

I was of the impression (perhaps mistakenly?) that such folks were Jehovah's Witnesses.

I know some former JWs and they didn't dress that way. I see the Mormons all the time. Easy to spot for sure.

Scientology is but one more result of the Original Sin.

The only difference between Scientology and Christianity or most other religions is that Scientology is new enough for us to have accurate records of it's bullshit.

Go back to the introduction of Christianity and get the writers of the Bible to write the book of Scientology instead, and we would be having this conversation in reverse.

Any religion started by a sci-fi writer who's work was ridiculed so badly that he made the statement, "I can make anyone believe anything I want them to," has to be the correct religion. lol
