I dunno about the outcome you described (though it isn't improbable), but I do know that they will bleed him dry if they cannot send him to jail. The law says he is immune from civil lawsuits. In fact, he can now sue a shit-load of people, including the parents of Trayvon Martin (who are now millionaires.
